‘Tis the season to be jolly (falalalala lalalala!), for many, Christmas is just not all its cracked up to be. It’s a time of year where families come together, and family matters, it’s quite often the value we hold highest. So how do you cope at Christmas when one of your family members display narcissistic behaviours?
We can reflect to recognise what scares us and where it is coming from for us. Know that it's normal - just that old survival mechanism in our brain - accept that it is what it is. Feel the fear and do it anyway, especially if it get’s us closer to what we truly want. Remember a ship in harbour is safe, but that’s not what ships are built for!
